Computer Repair
Laptop, desktop and Mac diagnostics for power, storage, Windows, display, cooling, keyboard, battery and other common failures.
Serving Bellevue and the Omaha area since 2011.
AME Computers combines more than 30 years of hands-on technical experience with a simple way of doing business: diagnose the real problem, explain it clearly, and treat people with the same honesty and respect we would want ourselves.

My interest in computers goes back decades. I was the kind of person who wanted to know what was inside the machine, why it worked, and what made it fail. That curiosity eventually turned into more than 30 years of hands-on computer experience.
One of the early machines that helped fuel that interest was a Commodore 64. Taking computers apart, learning how the hardware and software worked together, and solving problems became something I genuinely enjoyed rather than simply a job.
In 2011, I decided to bring that experience into a local storefront. AME Computers opened in Bellevue on February 14, 2011, with the goal of giving people a more personal alternative to large repair chains: real troubleshooting, clear explanations, and service where customers are treated like people rather than ticket numbers.
AME is built to handle both the common problems and the failures that require more careful diagnosis.
Laptop, desktop and Mac diagnostics for power, storage, Windows, display, cooling, keyboard, battery and other common failures.
Selected USB-C, charging-port, connector, motherboard and circuit faults can be evaluated at the component level instead of automatically replacing the whole board.
Data recovery evaluation, malware cleanup, secure data-destruction options and practical guidance when important files or accounts are at risk.
SSD, RAM, graphics, cooling, storage and power upgrades plus custom systems built around what the customer actually needs.
Local support for small-business workstations, troubleshooting, backups, upgrades, networks and technology planning without enterprise complexity.
Electronics recycling for many common devices, along with data-destruction options when storage media needs to be handled securely.
I have been a Christian since I was about 12 years old. I received the Holy Ghost, and I was baptized when I was about 22. Those experiences became part of the foundation for how I try to live, work, and treat other people.
That is why AME Computers describes itself as a faith-based business. Faith does not replace technical skill, careful diagnosis, or accountability. It is the standard I want behind the way we communicate with customers, handle their property, make recommendations, and stand behind our word.
Outside the repair shop, I also share Bible teaching and Christian content through my YouTube channel, El Shaddai. The channel is another way I can talk about the faith that has been part of my life much longer than AME Computers has been in business.
“A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches...”
Proverbs 22:1 reflects the reputation AME wants to build through everyday service: serving people, honoring God, and doing the work with integrity.
Computers rarely fail in perfectly obvious ways. A bad drive can look like a Windows problem. A damaged charging circuit can look like a dead battery. Heat, memory, power and motherboard faults can create symptoms that overlap.
That is where real troubleshooting experience matters. We work backward from the symptom, test the likely failure path, and explain what the evidence points to before recommending a repair.
We repair laptops, desktops and Macs; perform selected board-level and microsoldering work; help recover data; remove malware; build and upgrade PCs; support small businesses; and provide responsible electronics recycling and data-destruction options.
