AME Computers was originally founded in 2006 as a web site to help consumers find computer knowledge and information that was scattered throughout the web in once local source. The webmaster Anthony Elias, wrote over 500 articles which are still on this site today, as time passed and the site grew he began hiring writers to write the content that he did not have time to write anymore. The site grew and now AME Computers website has a wide audience from around the world with over 5,000 visitors a month.

The Webmaster desire to create the site came from his passion for computers and technology, he began working with computer over 21 years ago and he still's has the same enthusiasm and passion as the first day he dissembled his Commodore 64.

In January 2011 he started transferring the website into a brick and mortar store front where he could his knowledge and experience in the real world as opposed to just the internet, he felt that he could give the community and the surrounding cities another option for computer repair.

On February 14, 2011 AME Computers opened for business. Many of the large computers repair center such as Best Buy and Staples, we felt could not give the personal service and quality care that AME Computers could give to it's customers. Instead of being a number at AME Computers you are a real person with a face and a name, you’ll get to know us and we will get to know you by first name basis. With the low overhead AME Computers can beat the big box stores on prices hands down.

At AME Computers, there nothing that we will shy away from, we work on all makes and models of computers, Apple products, tablets, Smart Phones and just about anything that plugs and has a screen. Not mention consoles, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo. We also specialize in data recovery and custom built computers.
